The finnish cocker spaniel club arranged a grouse hunting trip to northern Lappland, Karigasniemi, Muotkan Ruoktu 30.9-3.10. The wilderness was enormous and the beauty of it incredible. The weather was sunny and around 6 degrees celsius. Unfortunately there were not too much of grouses, but we did get some. We walked around 40 km in three days in various landscape: fell, marsh and artic birch grove. Dogs did around 150 km while hunting. Thank you, Nina, Jussi, Juha, Jussi, Pekka, Jukka and Marko for this trip! And also the cockers Laku, Ellen, Nana and Susu and springers Moona and Mari.

First time in the wilderness, both we and the dogs were extremely eager.
